Earthsave Canada updates Metro Vancouver Veg Directory for 2013

Metro Vancouver Veg Directory

The Metro Vancouver Veg Directory lists local veg-friendly businesses.

Those familiar green pamphlets will soon begin reappearing at local restaurants and shops. Earthsave Canada has printed the 2013 edition of its free Metro Vancouver Veg Directory, and the new PDF is already online.

This handy guide lists vegan, vegetarian, and veg-friendly restaurants, retailers, and products in the region. Gluten-free options and accessible facilities are noted. Additions in this year’s directory include Golden Aura, the Slow Bean, Three Jewels, and the forthcoming Graze.

I contributed the colourful cover photo. It’s a shot of the dips at Heirloom Vegetarian.

iPhone app

Earthsave Canada has an iPhone app.

The guide is also available as a web directory and an iPhone app. An Android app is set to be released later this month.

A Vancouver-based charity, Earthsave is one of the groups involved with the new Vancouver Vegan Business Association, which held its first meeting on April 22.
