Vancouver’s best food truck has suffered a break-in—again.

On its Facebook page, Loving Hut Express posted on Thursday (November 29) the following message:

Sorry friends, we are unable to open until further notice. Another break in has left us without vital operating equipment. We must wait for insurance money, and we have moved out of the common kitchen, are looking for new one in a safe area. Will announce our next opening day when all is organized.

Thieves previously struck the fully vegan food truck in early October. That time, only burger patties were stolen.

Loving Hut Express opened in October 2011. The food truck is usually stationed at Pacific Boulevard and Davie Street, outside Yaletown’s Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre. It serves Crispy Chick’n burgers, BBQ onion ring cheese burgers, and other tasty fast food.
